Materials:
Rapid Gasket provides gaskets in a variety of non-metallic materials including:
- Silicone rubber- Foam:
- Red-orange in color
- Open-cell and very soft
- Thicknesses from 1.59mm [1/16"]
- Polyurethane- Foam:
- Dark-grey in color
- Adhesive-backed
- Open-cell, soft and with a skin
- A great foam material manufactured by Rogers, Poron offers excellent memory compared to other foams.
- Supported means a 2 mil thin polyester film is bonded to the material on the adhesive side. This gives great stability when applying, especially with the thinner foams.
- Thicknesses from 0.79mm [1/32"]
- Cork Sheeting:
- Cork/Rubber blend improves performance over straight cork material with only a modest increase in cost. Our most affordable gasket material.
- Thicknesses from 0.79mm [1/32"].
- Silicone rubber- Solid:
- Red-orange in color
- FDA Grade 21 CFR 177.2600
- Very high performance elastomer and at 50 Durometer this material is versatile.
- Supplied with a light talc
- Thicknesses from 0.79mm [1/32"].
- Neoprene rubber- Solid:
- Black in color
- Durometer 40
- This material is a solid performer and is less expensive than silicone.
- Thicknesses from 0.79mm [1/32"].
- Viton rubber- Solid
- Black in color
- Durometer 75A
- Standard strength
- Smooth both sides
- Thicknesses available:
- 0.79mm [1/32"]
- 1.58mm [1/16"]
